Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is a Cozy Dozee?
A: A Cozy Dozee is a gentle head support for sleeping children in the car. It is an ‘add-on accessory’ for children’s car restraints and NOT a safety device. The Cozy Dozee gently supports children's heads, giving BETTER QUALITY SLEEP in the car and helping to improve neck posture and relieve adult distractions when driving.
Q: Has Cozy Dozee been patented?
Q: Do I put the Cozy Dozee on before the child goes to sleep or after?
A: It is very important that the Cozy Dozee is positioned on AFTER the child is asleep. Make sure the child’s head is in an upright posture, then gently stretch and slide to position the front of the Cozy Dozee inline with the child’s forehead. Note: Adults should only position the Cozy Dozee when the car is safely parked, in a stationary position and with the parking brake on. We suggest you could either reach through the car to the child or alternatively open a window and get out of the car to reach through, or open the door.

Q: Is the Cozy Dozee a safety product?
A: No, the Cozy Dozee is a car seat accessory and is NOT TO BE USED AS A SAFETY DEVICE. Nor is the Cozy Dozee designed to provide any protection in the case of the accident. It is meant to improve sleep quality and comfort by gently supporting the child’s head and preventing them from dropping forward.
Q: Has the Cozy Dozee been tested?
A: Yes. Please see our Testing page for full information at Cozy Dozee Testing which details our crash testing, flammability testing and air permeability testing and more.
Q: Did the Cozy Dozee pass the tests?
A: Yes, the Cozy Dozee is a car seat accessory used for comfort and not for safety. The standard requires testing to ensure that the car seat accessory “does not lessen the protection and performance offered by the child restraint”. Testing proved this to be correct.
